Virohana

Virohana (विरोहण) was a Nagavanshi chief of the race of Takshaka.[1]

Bohra (बोहरा) - Bauhra (बौहरा) Vohra (वोहरा) gotra Jats found in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are descendants of ancestral mahapurusha Virohana (विरोहण). [2]

In Mahabharata

Adi Parva, Mahabharata/Mahabharata Book I Chapter 57 mentions in shloka 8 the names of the Nagavanshi chiefs, Virohana is from the race of Takshaka.

उच्छिखः सुरसॊ दरङ्गॊ बलहेडॊ विरॊहणः
शिली शल करॊ मूकः सुकुमारः परवेपनः Mahabharata (1.57.8)
