बासणी जोहड़ का सफाई कार्य वर्ष 2020 में धर्मेंद्र चाहर की निगरानी में विवेक ढाका की टीम द्वारा किया गया है. गाँव में वर्षा जल को संचित करने के लिए पूर्व में यही एक जोहड़ था और ग्रामीण लोग इसका पानी पीते थे. पिछले कुछ दशकों में इसकी उपेक्षा से यह मिट्टी में दब गया था और ग्रामीण इसकी भूमि पर अतिक्रमण करने लगे. गाँव के युवा उत्साही कार्यकर्ता विवेक ढाका ने श्रमदान से इसकी सफाई का बीड़ा उठाया. युवा टीम द्वारा न केवल जोहड़ की सफाई का कार्य पूरा किया बल्कि जोहड़ के केचमेंट में वृक्षारोपण कर उन पौधों में पानी देने का कार्य भी किया जा रहा है. यहाँ लगे एक भित्ति लेख पर इसका निर्माण वर्ष विक्रम संवत 1980 (=1923 ई.) लिखा है. | |||
