Ladu Ram Burdak From village Thathawata tahsil (Ratangarh, District Churu), was a Freedom fighter. He took part in Loha and Kangar farmers movement.

He fought for opening of School at Thathawata. There was no school in the village till 1952. In 1952 it was felt to start a primary school in the village. Four leading persons of the village namely Ladu Ram Burdak, Gadu Ram Punia, Toda Ram Punia and Ladu Ram Jhajhadia along with Mohan Lal Saraswat ex. MLA from Ratangarh went to Seth Suraj Mal Jalan of Ratangarh and requested to start a school. Suraj Mal Jalan agreed upon the proposal and all four persons deposited Rs 100/- with him and sent first teacher Mahavir Prasad Sharma. There was no building and land. Initially school was started in Dharam Shala in Johad of the village in eastern side. Ladu Ram Burdak, who had good relations with Thakur Mukun Singh of village, requested the Thakur for land who provided the land required and the school was shifted on this land.
