Matsara (मतसारा)[1][2] Matsar (मतसर)[3] is gotra of Jats in Uttar Pradesh. [4]
History
Ram Swarup Joon[5] writes that they are also found in Gurjars. About 70 Jat Gotras joined the Gujar force and started calling themselves Gujars: the list of these includes - Matsara.
