Alipur (अलीपुर), is a village in Sohna tehsil of Gurgaon district in Haryana.
Location
It's located approximate 7 Kms from Gurgaon on Gurgaon - Sohna road. It is situated about 10 km away from Gurgaon , at Gurgaon-Sohna road.
This village is also known as Alipur-Ghamroj because of its proximity to Ghamroj village (Ghamroj is a Rajput-dominated village).
Population
According to 2011 Census, Alipur village had a population of 3400 persons.
History
- Dagar Jats from Bagru Sonipat went to Issapur Delhi from there Dagar also scattered in the nearby villages of Issapur in Najafgarh. Dagar Jats from Issapur also went to Maidan Garhi and after many centuries those Dagars went from Maidan Garhi to southern part of Haryana in Alipur Sohna in Gurgaon and Braj Palwal village Mandkola. These all migration process is many centuries old.

- Sachin Dagar (Lans Naik) became martyr on 17.01.2022 after being buried in a glacier in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara. He was from village Alipur Sohna in Gurgaon district of Haryana. Unit: 21 Rashtriya Rifles.
