Banas River Madhya Pradesh is a tributary of Sone River in Madhya Pradesh.

It originates near Tatoli in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district of Chhattisgarh, moves in north for some distance and turns west and then forms boundary with Shahdol. Later it forms boundary of Shahdol and Sidhi districts and merges with Sone River at Shikarganj.

Banas River merges with Sone River at the confluence of the Sone and Banas Rivers near Shikarganj town 30 km down river from the present site of Bansagar.
