Brahmagiri (ब्रह्मगिरि) is a tahsil town of Puri district in Odisha, India.

Location

It is located at 19°48′0″N 85°39′0″E at an elevation of 10 m above MSL. Brahmagiri is 20 km from Puri. National Highway 203A passes through Brahmagiri.

History

Tourism

The famous Alarnatha Mandira is at Brahmagiri. Hundreds of pilgrims visit the shrine here during the anabasara of Lord Jagannath.[1] Baliharachandi, a sacred place and tourist spot, is around 10 km south. It is on sand dunes.

Nearest airport is Biju Patnaik International Airport at Bhubaneswar and the nearest railway station is at Puri and Sakhi Gopal is a near by train station as well.

ब्रह्मगिरि

ब्रह्मगिरि = जिला पुरी, उड़ीसा. चोड़ गंगदेव (12 वीं सदी ई.) के बनवाए अलारनाथ के मंदिर के लिए प्रसिद्ध है. यह विष्णु, लक्ष्मी, रुक्मणी और सरस्वती का मंदिर है.[2]


ब्रह्मगिरि (Brahmagiri) भारत के ओड़िशा राज्य के पुरी ज़िले में स्थित एक नगर है। यहाँ से राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 316 गुज़रता है। ब्रह्मगिरि का अलारनाथ मन्दिर प्रसिद्ध है।
