Dangas/Dankas/ (दनकस), which is another form of Dhankar, Dinkar, Dhankad Jat Gotras, is found in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

History

Haveli of Dangas Jats Dhadhau, Hathras

Dhadhau was a Zamindar of Dangas clan of Jats. The Haveli was built by Thakur Umrao Singh (a contemporary of Raja Bhup Singh of Mursan and Maharaja Suraj Mal of Bharatpur) in Braj style during 18th century. The Zamindar family still lives in the Haveli.
