Gaidabra (), is a village in Baraut tehsil of Bagpat district in Uttar Pradesh.

Location

Pincode of the village is 250622. It is situated 24km away from Baraut town and 39km away from Baghpat city. Gaidabra village has got its own gram panchayat. Daha, Nirpura and Garhi Kanmaran are some of the nearby villages.

Origin

History

Gahadbara / Gaidabra also known as Gehndpura in local parlance is a village in Chaugama Khap in Baghpat district. The original four villages of Chaugama as the name suggests are Daha, Gaidabra, Badhal and Nirpura. Gaidabra is an offshoot of Nirpura from where two brothers migrated and established it. These villages are inhabited by Jats of Rana gotra.
