Ghanshyam Thori
Ghanshyam Thori (घनश्याम थोरी) is in Indian Administrative Service (2009). His Hometown is Raisinghnagar tehsil of Sriganganagar district, Rajasthan. He completed his schooling from Raisinghnagar & then moved to Delhi to do his graduation in Geography (hons) from Kirori Mal College, Delhi. Post his graduation he did MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai & got campus placement with Kotak Life Insurance. He worked with Kotak Life Insurance for 3 years in Mumbai & Delhi. In Delhi, he was given additional charge of entire Haryana region for marketing. He took Civil Services exam side by side. He got through Indian Revenue Service in year (2008). Soon after, he resigned from Kotak and wrote the exam again and got IAS in 2009. Ghanshyam secured 25th rank in the Civil Services exam.
He has been been allocated to Punjab Cadre.
