Jad (जद)[1][2] Jadh (जध) Jad (जाड़) is a gotra of Jats found in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.

- Jad (जद) (Jat clans) → Jadmadal Harra Kachhar (जदमदल हर्रा कछार). Jadmadal Harra Kachhar (जदमदल हर्रा कछार) is a village in Tamia tahsil in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh. It is part of Patalkot.
History
Hukum Singh Panwar writes with reference to Pt. Lekh Ram who opines that "Jats, in reality, are the descendents of Yadu[3], a name, which in the course of time, was distorted into Jadu, Jad and subsequently became Jatt or Jat". [4]
