Khayali Saharan is comedian and laughter champion from Rajasthan, India. He make his way to success in laughter challenge and after that he is well known for his rib tickling comedy.

Early life

Khayali hails from village 18 SPD Badopal in Hanumangarh district in Rajasthan. His comes from a very poor family. His father was Daulat Ram Saharan. He was youngest son. A small made man, with immense potential to make the viewers laugh with his one-liners, Khayali hails from the historical state of Rajasthan. His earliest memories of entertaining people were in school, performing comic items in front of his friends, schoolmates and teachers. The popularity and adulation he received in his early days was the deciding factor for Khayali to choose stand-up comedy as his profession.

He worked in Ganganagar Sugar Mill as a watchman. There he lost one of his hands. At this difficult time he was helped by a social reformer Anil Chaudhary of Prempura village who got him treated. He left his job in Sugar Mill and joined a Ramalila party, where worked in this party during day time and passed nights on footpath.

Moved to Chandigarh

When he was showing his talents in Ramalila shows he had impressed Mr Rohit Batra, an NRI, who took him to Chandigarh.

He moved to Chandigarh in 2000. He worked with Mr Batra as stage master and as laughter artist.

Laughter challenge

Once in Delhi Khyali was engaged in stage show in a theater where Kumar Sanu was to come. Kumar Sanu became late and at this moment Khyali started doing comedy. By chance he impressed Star one Channel team present there who called him for audition to Mumbai. It was in 2006 when Khayali moved to Mumbai and came in limelight through laughter challenge.

Famous artist

He has represented Jaipur at several state level comedy contests. He has also anchored TV shows. He participated in the two comedy shows - The Great Indian Laughter Challenge on Star One channel and Comedy Circus on Sony Entertainment Television channel.

He was one of the contestants of Comedy Ka King Kaun, a comedy show on SAB TV channel.

Having represented Jaipur at the State Level Comedy Contests, Khayali weaves his comedy around experiences from daily life and his interactions with people.

Khayali has anchored various comedy shows across the country and set a record of stand-up comedy for 2 full hours!


Recently he acted in famous film " Singh is King" and song " Bhootni ke.." was shot on him.

His sons are also coming in TV ads.

In Social service

Khayali wants his birth place 18 SDP as an education centre. He has made a trust in the name of his grandfather late Chaudhary Rawat Ram Saharan. He plans to spend about one and half crore in this project. He aims to impart free education to poor children. Famous Gandhian Ideologist, Philosopher and social reformer Naresh Kadyan, animal rights activist invited Khyali Saharan to join animal rights and welfare movement and Khyali now animal rights activist as well, brand ambassador for PFA Haryana / OIPA in India. -[1]
