Kasra = A variant of the Persian name Khosrow.
Sir H. M. Elliot, Edited by John Dowson[1] writes....In the Roman empire they (kings) take the title of Cæsar, which descends upon all those who wield the supreme power. Among the Aghzaz they are called Shái Shá, or king of kings, a title hereditary like the rest. Finally, among the Persians they are called Kásra (Chosroes).
