History
Bhagatrav (Gujarat) seems to have been an important port, as Lothal.[7]However, backwaters of sea and floods from Kim River has washed out the site to a large extent and only peripheral area is left for exploration and for eight months in a year, the site is surrounded by water.[8]

Kim is a town in Surat district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Kim railway station is located on the Western Railway Mumbai – Vadodara Segment. It is 24 km from Surat, 105 km from Vadodara.
