Cinolis was a Greek[4] small port town on the coast of ancient Paphlagonia in Turkey. Pliny has mentioned it as Cimolis. [5]

History

Bhagatrav (Gujarat) seems to have been an important port, as Lothal.[7]However, backwaters of sea and floods from Kim River has washed out the site to a large extent and only peripheral area is left for exploration and for eight months in a year, the site is surrounded by water.[8]

Kim is a town in Surat district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Kim railway station is located on the Western Railway MumbaiVadodara Segment. It is 24 km from Surat, 105 km from Vadodara.
