Major Mahinder Singh Kadiyan was father of Pamella Bordes, who briefly hit the headlines in the United Kingdom in 1988 and 1989. He was born in a Hindu Jat family of Kadiyan gotra in Karnal, Haryana. Major Mahinder Singh Kadiyan, who was killed in the India-China war.
