• Malodia (मलोदिया) (Jat clan) → Malajpur (मलाजपुर) is a village in Chicholi tahsil of Betul district in Madhya Pradesh. It is the only place in the world where Ghost fair is organized.

History

Malada (मलद) refers to a country in Ramayana and Mahabharata. Malaya (मलय) was subjugated by Bhimasena as mentioned in Mahabharata (II.27.8). Malada has been identified with Buxar (बक्सर) region in the state of Bihar, India.

Here the province of Malada was probably of Jat Clan Malodia.
