.It is a branch of Tomar.Tomar jat also called Tanwar.

मोटा गोत्र नहीं है यह सिर्फ एक नाम है । इनका गोत्र तोमर (तंवर) यह लोग राजस्थान में हरयाणा के जाटोली गाँव से सवाई माधोपुर जिले के वज़ीरपुर के पास आकर बसे वहां से ही खण्डार तहसील में गए, सवाई माधोपुर जिले के वज़ीरपुर के पास केकुन्साय और खेड़ला गॉवों में वो अपना गोत्र तोमर (तंवर ) ही लिखते है
