Pansota (पंसोटा) is a Muslim Jat clan found in Pakistan.
History
Distribution in Pakistan
Pansota - The pansota are lower caste jutts in Pakistan, especially shadra region of Lahore.The Pansota have settled in Faisalabad, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh districts. Most of them migrated from Indian city of Hoshiarpur.
According to 1911 census the Pansota were the principal Muslim Jat clan in:
- Lyalpur District (Faisalabad District) - Pansota (1,941)
