Peeragarhi (पीरागढ़ी) is a well-known village of North-West Delhi

It is situated on NH-10 (Delhi-Rohtak Road), just before Nangloi village. The posh Pashchim Vihar colony has surrounded it on two sides. The village is now fully urbanised and is also connected by Delhi Metro Rail system.

It is a Shokeen gotra village, though now some others have also settled down here, due to rapid urbanisation.

Notable persons

Ch. Shraddhanand Sheokhanda of Piragarhi near Nangloi (Delhi), an ex Edn. Officer, was the person who first of all wrote his gotra as 'Shokeen' in place of Sheokhande.[1]
