Prem Lata has been a Haryana Vidhan Sabha MLA from the BJP party (2014-2019).Her Constituency is Uchana Kalan.

During Haryana state elections in October 2019, she again contested from Uchana Kalan constituency but lost the seat to Dushyant Chautala who got 92504 votes and won with a comfortable majority.

She is a daughter of Kawi (Panipat) village. Her Father's name is Late Col. Amar Singh Dhanda. Her Date of Birth is 15/01/1950.

She is Married with Chaudhary Birender Singh Sheokand. She has one son and one daughter.

  • Organising Blood Donation camps, distributing sewing machines, utensils to the needy women.

  • To visit different countries to know the civilisation and cultural heritage, lifestyle of people.

Favourite Pastime

Dramatics.Dance, T.V. Sports and Clubs. Took keen interest in basket ball, swimming , badminton. She participated in Republic Day Parade in Delhi as a member of School Band ( Birla Balika Vidyapeeth Pilani (Raj), year 1964 to 1965, 1965 to 1966.
