Ram Lal Jajra

Ram Lal Chaudhary (रामलाल चौधरी) is politician from Nagaur district in Rajasthan. He was born in 1937 at village Baggar, tehsil Merta in Nagaur district in the family of Chaudhary Chautha Ram, a Hindu Jat of Jajra gotra.

Education

He got his primary education at village. He did not get higher education.

Career in Politics

He was politically very conscious and active due to which he was elected as Sarpanch of village Baggar at a very early age from 1953-1959. Later he was elected as Pradhan of Riyan Panchayat Samiti from 1960-1971. He was elected as MLA of Rajasthan Assembly for three consecutive terms in 1972, 1977 and 1985 from Merta.

Social worker

He was a devoted social worker due to which he was awarded as "Jat Ratna" in 1991.
