Sanwali or Sinwali (सिनवाली) is a village in Laxmangarh tahsil in Sikar district of Rajasthan.

Location

It is few kms in west of Laxmangarh town.

Origin

The Founders

It was founded by Sinsinwar Jats.

History

Village is associated with the history of Sinsinwars of Tajsar. There are about 650 families dwelling in the village Tajsar near Fatehpur, out of which 500 families are of Sinsinwar gotra Jats, who had migrated to this village from Sinsini in Bharatpur about 200 years back due to differences with the chieftain. According to bards of Sinsinwars of the village, Mohan Singh and Jal Singh two Sinsinwar brothers had come to a place near Laxmangarh where they founded village Sanwali. Later they came to Tajsar.
