Tahakwada is a Village in Darbha Tehsil in Bastar District of Chattisgarh State, India. It is located 39 KM towards South from District head quarters Jagdalpur. 306 KM from State capital Raipur. Tahakwada is surrounded by Tokapal Tehsil towards North , Jagdalpur Tehsil towards East , Bastanar Tehsil towards west , Lohandiguda Tehsil towards North . Author (Laxman Burdak) visited this village and mentioned in his diary of 19.10.1982:
19.10.1982: Darbha – Tongpal 8-9.30 hrs by bus, Tongpal – Bengpal 9.30 to 12 hrs on foot 12.5 km. Inspected Tahakawada – Bispur Road work. Returned 14.30-17 hrs on foot and then to Darbha by govt vehicle.
