Tahakwada is a Village in Darbha Tehsil in Bastar District of Chattisgarh State, India. It is located 39 KM towards South from District head quarters Jagdalpur. 306 KM from State capital Raipur. Author (Laxman Burdak) visited this village and mentioned in his diary of 19.10.1982:
19.10.1982: Darbha – Tongpal 8-9.30 hrs by bus, Tongpal – Bengpal 9.30 to 12 hrs on foot 12.5 km. Inspected Tahakawada – Bispur Road work. Returned 14.30-17 hrs on foot and then to Darbha by govt vehicle.
