Location of Bina River

Bina River (बीना नदी) flows in Sagar District west of Bina town, forms border of Vidisha and merges into Betwa River near Pirotha in Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh.

Author (Laxman Burdak) visited Rahatgarh, town in Sagar district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, on 23.08.1990 while on tour from Damoh to Bhopal, Got held up near Rahatgarh due to flood in Bina River.

Course

Bina River originates from Vindhya Range in Gairatganj tehsil of Raisen district, this river flows in Raisen and Sagar district and joins Betwa River.

Tributaries: Begam River, Reuta River and Baban River are tributaries of Bina river.

Settlements: Gairatganj, Begamganj, and Rahatgarh are on Bina River banks.

विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[3] ने लेख किया है ..... बीना नदी (AS, p.639) मध्यप्रदेश की एक नदी जिसके तट पर एरण या प्राचीन एरकिण बसा हुआ है। बीना नामक क़स्बा भी इसी नदी के तट पर स्थित है। बीना के पश्चिम से बीना नदी बहती है जो सागर और विदिशा जिलों की सीमा बनाती है।
