Vindu Dara Singh

Vindu Dara Singh Randhawa (born: 9 August 1964) is an Indian film and television actor. He is a Jat. He is the son of veteran Indian actor and wrestler Dara Singh. He is currently one of the 13 participants in Bigg Boss (Season 3) of Bigg Boss.

Career

Vindu Dara Singh made his acting debut in the Punjabi language film, Rab Dian Rakhan (1996), which was directed by his father. He made his Hindi film debut as a hero in film 'Karan' (1994). Since then, he has acted in many films, mostly in supporting roles. He has also acted in TV serials, including the role of Lord Hanuman in the TV serial Jai Shri Hanuman, much like his father did in Ramayan. He has also starred as supervillain in TV serials on STAR Plus, including Zaal in Ssshhhh...Koi Hai (2003) and Char Sau Chalis in Karma (2004). Vindu s also essayed an important role in the serial "Black" on 9x TV Channel where he has played the character of Rajiv, a medium who can establish connections with spirits.

Personal life

He earlier married bollywood actress Farah (actress), (who happens to be the elder sister of actress Tabu). They have since divorced and have a son Fateh Randhawa. After 7 years of his divorce with Farah, he got married to Dina Umarova, a Russian model with whom he has a daughter Amelia.
