Virender Singh Kiledar (born 15/08/1919) was from Bhugwara, Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh. Son of Shri Beni Singh Kiledar. Birendra Singh Kiledar has been a student of Banaras Hindu University and played a revolutionary role as an active student leader in the British Quit India Movement of 1942 and was involved in the rail/road bridge of Banaras. He along with his comrades had planted dynamite and escaped by jumping into the Yamuna river. Meanwhile, bullets were fired by the security personnel due to which the comrade who was supposed to set fire to the palita could not be hit. At that time Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan ji was the Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University. Of. Married to Mrs. Savitri Devi Kiledar in 1948.
