Kashyap (कश्यप) or Kashyapa (काश्यप)[1] gotra Jats are found in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Dilip Singh Ahlawat has mentioned it as one of the ruling Jat clans in Central Asia. [2]
