Bodlasi (बोदलासी) is a village in Laxmangarh tehsil of Sikar district in Rajasthan.

History

The Ranwas, who founded village Dholpalia were earlier settled in Nathawatpura near Sikar town from where they moved to Bodlasi and later to Dholpalia, to escape from the excesses done by Jagirdars during those days. Earlier, Dholpalia was a khalsa village under direct control of Jaipur state.

Population

As per Census-2011 statistics, Bodlasi village has the total population of 1183 (of which 560 are males while 623 are females).[1]

  • Pramila Nehra - Resident of Sihot Chhoti, Sikar, Rajastha married to Rajendra Ranwa of Bodlasi , Sikar, Rajastha.
