Barjati

Barjati (बड़जाती) is gotra of Jats found in Distt Sikar and Nagaur in Rajasthan. Earlier the gotra of these was Rosa (रोसा) and settled at village Rosawa. Their population was not increasing but going down. So they changed their gotra to Barjati and came to village Thethalia. They spread from this village to various villages like Khuri, Kharia, Ruprisar in Churu district and Sirdarpura in Sikar district in Rajasthan.
