Awar (अवार) village is situated in Tehsil- Kumher, District- Bharatpur in Rajasthan.

The Awar village has population of 5404 of which 2885 are males while 2519 are females (as per Population Census 2011).[1]
History
Jats in 17th century while fighting with Mughals constructed many forts and fortresses, Awar was one of them.

- Jugal Singh Thakur (ठाकुर जुगल सिंह), Awar (अवार), Kumher, Bharatpur was a Social worker in Bharatpur, Rajasthan.[2]
- Devi Singh Baba (Sinsinwar) - Chairman of Kray-Vikray Sahakari Samiti Kumher. He died on 10 June 2008. He was father of Kushal Pal Singh Sinsinwar, Chairman Dugdha Sangh Bharatpur Dholpur. [3]
