Chani (चनी) Chani (चानी)[1] is a Muslim Jat clan found in Pakistan. Chani is found in Afghanistan.[2] Chani (चनी) Dogar clan is found in Amritsar. [3]

According to 1911 census the Chani were the principal Muslim Jat clan in district with population -
- Dera Ghazi Khan : Chani (572)
- Bahawalpur State : Chani (632)

- Chani is village in Kolayat tahsil of Bikaner district.
- Chani is village in Bilsi tahsil in district Budaun in Uttar Pradesh.
- Chani is village in Bahawalpur district, inhabited by Mahota clan.
