Dhatri

Dhatri (धातरी) (also Dhatari) is a large village in Sujangarh tahsil of Churu district in Rajasthan.

Origin

Founders

  • Dhatarwal - धरोजी धतरवाल का विवाह सुजोजी पुनियां के पुत्र गजोजी की पुत्री गंवरी पुनियां से हुआ, धरोजी ने धातरी गांव बसाया (See Dhatarwal)

Jat Gotras

History

The Sinwar Jats of Barjangsar had gone there from Dhatri village, situated 7 km west of this village. Dhatri is mainly a village of Sinwar Jats.

Population

According to Census-2011 information: With total 523 families residing, Dhatri village has the population of 3169 (of which 1632 are males while 1537 are females).[1]
