Dr.Ajay Singh Tomar son of Chaudhary Vijay Singh was the MLA from Chhaprauli Vidhan Sabha constituency of western Uttar Pradesh (2007-2012 - from Rashtriya Lok Dal party). His grandfather's residence is in Fatehpur Puthi village, about 9 Kms in east-west direction of Baraut.
