Location of Dulchasar in Bikaner district

Dulchasar (दुलचासर) is a Jat village, mainly of Mahia gotra, in tehsil Dungargarh of Bikaner district in Rajasthan.

Location

It is off road south of Jodhasar situated on National Highway. It is situated at a distance of 25 km from ShriDungargarh in the southwest direction at a distance of 50 km from Bikaner. This is a well-connected village by road and rail. The nearest railhead is Soodsar.

Origin

Founders

Dulram Mahia Jat founded the village about 200 years back. He gave the name Dulchasar to this village.

History

Village is politically active. The main source of income of the residents is from agriculture and business. Education needs improvement.

ठाकुर देशराज[1] लिखते हैं कि मारवाड़ में चुंटीसरा नामक गाँव है । उसमें एक बड़े प्रसिद्द जाट-भक्त हुए हैं । वे सदारामजी महाराज के नाम से पुकारे जाते हैं । रेवाड़ गोत्र के जाट परिवार में उनका जन्म हुआ था । उनके 24 शिष्य थे, जिन्होंने राजस्थान के विभिन्न भागों पर मंदिर स्थापित किये । सभी जातियों के लोग उनकी प्रशंसा करते हैं और श्रद्धा के साथ उनका स्मरण करते हैं । उनके मंदिर निम्न स्थानों में हैं -

Sujangarh (सुजानगढ़) (Bikaner), 10. Utalad (उटालड़) (D.Churu), 11. Desh (देश), 12. Teu (टेऊ), 13. Dulchasar (दुलचासर), 14. Nathasar (नाथासर), 15. Bikaner (बीकानेर), 16. Raghunathsar (रघुनाथसर), 17. Mastramji Acharyon Ke Chok Men (मस्तरामजी आचार्यों के चोक में), 18. Vinaniya Ke Chok Men (विनानिया के चोक में), 19. Gaanvren (गांवरेन), 20. Gachhipura (ग़च्छीपुरा), 21. Jodhpur (जोधपुर), 22. Udaipur (उदयपुर), 23. Jaipur (जयपुर), 24. Nagaur (नागौर) ।

इनके शिष्यों में जोधपुर में जाटों के बास में मूरदास जी के नाम से मशहूर संत हुए हैं ।

Jat Gotras

There are 3500 people residing in the village out of them 150 families are of Mahia, the biggest gotra Jats in the village. The Godara, Kaswan and Dharang jats have only a few families. Other castes are Brahman, Baniya, Nayak, Meghwal, Nai, Swami and Suthar.

Notable Persons

  • Revant Ram Mahia - has been MLA, twice in ShriDungargarh constituency, is resident of this village and has played important role for the development of the village.
  • Kishan Lal Mahia - Chairman of Churu Cooperative Bank is also a resident of this village.
