Faujdar
Faujdar (फौजदार)[1], listed in Jat Gotras, is a title of Jats. awarded by Jat rulers to people who had responsibility of protecting some territory. Sogarwar, Chahar, Sinsinwar, Kuntal etc Jat gotra people use this title.
History
ये उपाधि मुग़ल शासन काल मे उन शाही उच्च अधिकारियो को दी जाती थी जो कई परगनो और प्रांत की शासन व्यवस्था करते थे

जाटों को ये उपाधि भरतपुर नरेश महाराजा सूरजमल ने देनी आरम्भ की थी 🌟
उस समय राजवंश जाट जो महाराजा सूरजमल की सेना मे बड़ी संख्या मे भर्ती हुए थे उनको महाराजा सूरजमल ने ये फौजदार उपाधि दी थी ।।🌟

- Mohan Singh Faujdar (LNK) (05.8.1969 - 18.11.2001) was a martyr of militancy in Operation Rakshaka in Jammu and Kashmir. He was from village Indoo, tahsil Kumher Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. He became martyr on 18.11.2001 during a fight against militants. He was in Unit-19 Rajputana Rifles/9 Rashtriya Rifles.
