Shri Gajendra Singh Chaudhary Deputy Inspector General (Rtd), IG (NFFU). AC DE 1984. He belongs to Rashidpur village of Bulandshahr district in Uttar Pradesh (UP).
Early Life & family History
Shri Gajendra Singh Chaudhary was born into a Police family in a small remote town Bhanpura of the Mandsaur District in Madhya Pradesh (MP), India. He is married to Dr.Sanhita Chaudhary gotra narwan from village tatarpur district hapur in 1987. He has two children, an elder married son, and a younger unmarried daughter. Both his parents (father: late Pitam Singh Chaudhary and mother: Chanda Devi) were literate. Gajendra Singh Chaudhary is the second child in his family comprising two more brothers and one younger sister. Shri Gajendra Singh Chaudhary’s younger sister is married to Shri Jai veer Chaudhary from the village Rohta district meerut DIG retired from ITBP in 2010. His younger brother Dharmendra Chaudhary heads[NHAI power grid in Manipur state, earlier Mr. Dharmendra was project director/Chief of the road from India to Thailand and was stationed in Myanmar.
Shri Gajendra Singh Chaudhary’s father Late Shri Pitam Singh Chaudhary retired as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy. SP) from Madhya Pradesh in 1988. His father-in-law Shri Ompal Singh retired as Commandant ITBP in 1998. His grandfather Chaudhary Phool Singh retired as Subedar from 17th cavalry of British Indian Army.
According to family written history, Shri Gajendra Singh Chaudhary’s forefathers shifted from village Mundhal district Bhiwani in 1780 to a small village in the doab region between river Ganga and Yamuna in search of better farming prospects. Both the clans of the family from Rashidpur and Mundhal still have a cordial family relationship.

Shri Gajendra Singh Chaudhary belongs to Singal gotra of the jat community. From his mother’s side, he belongs to tevatia gotra from village Jatpura near Pilkhuwa town in western up.
Education
Shri Gajendra Singh Chaudhary is MSc in chemistry, MBA, and LLB.
Early Carrier
Started as a college lecturer at Saifia college, Bhopal in 1980. Then he joined as supervisor of chemicals in a sugar factory at daurala meerut UP 1981. In 1982 he cleared MPPSC as Dy.Sp but he could not join. 1983 he cleared the MPSI paper, of the MP Police and Joined as Sub-inspector. 1984 he cleared the CAPF exam of UPSC and then joined as Assistant Commandant in Border Security Force, at Ministry of Home Affairs.
Carrier Progression
1) Apart from guarding borders in his early carrier Shri Gajendra Singh Chaudhary was known as a counter-terrorism specialist and gained mastery in Is Duty, Ci Ops. Mr. GS Chaudhary tasted his first success in successfully curbing terrorism in different cities and districts of Punjab. Some of his operations were in the cities of Fazilka, Abhor, and in villages of the district of Gurdaspur. He was feared as much as two times his vehicle was blown by I.ed but miraculously survived.
2) Impressed by Shri Gajendra Singh Chaudhary the top brass of the Border Security Force appointed him as Chief security officer/ ADC -2 for Governor of Jammu & Kashmir.
3 )In 1997 Appointed as a law officer from the BSF Kashmir frontier. Single-handedly quashed 183 habeas corpus law writ petitions against various officers & jawans of BSF.
4)In 2004 He became chief architect for the expansion Of AIR WING of the Ministry of Home Affairs by inducting 6 MI 17 Helicopters from Russia and 1 super VVIP aircraft Embraer for movement of the top brass of the Government of India. This aircraft was brought by Shri GS Chaudhary from Brazil.
5) In the year 2009, he had promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Tura Meghalaya. He was instrumental in bringing a stop to Communal clashes between two scheduled tribe communities listed in the 5th and 6th schedule Constitution of India. They were Garo and Rabha tribes of Meghalaya & Assam.
6) In 2010 he was appointed as a chief coordinating officer from MHA to supervise the entire security of the Fifteenth assembly elections of Bihar. Also known as the 2010 Bihar legislative assembly elections.
7) In 2011 he was appointed as Deputy Director (Training) / DIG (Training) in Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D). His work focused on the modernization of weapons for state police and all CAPF. Training of all state police as well as training of IPS/ Indian Police Services officers.
8) In 2012 he was selected to head a team of three-member delegation to Afghanistan related to ascertaining the needs and requirements of Afghanistan national police from the Republic of India.
9) In 2015 he headed a training course with a police force of France called National Police (France) in Paris.
10) In 2016 he headed the course on counter-insurgency with the Federal bureau of investigation ( FBI) the USA in Okha Gujarat.
11) In 2017 he was promoted to the rank of DIG OPS and headed anti-Naxal operations in the state of Chhattisgarh.
