Ghansaur (घंसौर) is a s town and tahsil in Seoni district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India.
Location
Ghansor is located at 22.65°N 79.95°E. It has an average elevation of 582 metres. It hosts a Railway station which comes in South Eastern Central Railways zone connecting Jabalpur and Balaghat. It is well connected with bus services from Lakhnadon Seoni Jabalpur Mandla.

History
घंसौर
विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[1] ने लेख किया है ...घुनसौर (AS, p.312) सिवनी ज़िला, मध्य प्रदेश के गढ़मंडला नरेश संग्राम सिंह (मृत्यु 1541 ई.) के बावन दुर्गों में से एक था। गढ़मंडला की रानी वीरांगना दुर्गावती संग्राम सिंह या संग्रामशाह की पुत्रवधु थीं।
