The Jaitpur village has a total population of 1585, of which 809 are males while 776 are females (as per Population Census 2011).[1]
Notable persons
- Sunil Balwada (Naik Gunman) - From Jaitpur Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, Became Martyr on 9.6.2009 in an AN-32 plain crash during Operation Falcon near China Border. He along with other 12 soldiers were doing patrolling. North East Area was not notified so on this technical ground he could not get the status of a martyr. It was a long battle by his advocate brother Satish and father Jai Singh that the status of Martyr was awarded after 7 years in 2016. [2]
