Village Karansar was founded by a man named Karamat (कर्मट) Moond at the time of establishment of Bikaner. It means this village is as old as Bikaner. Karamat Moond came from Moondsar village in Bikaner district. Villagers worship Brahmani Mata (Pallu Dhham).

According to Census-2011 information: With total 286 families residing, Karansar village has the population of 1831 (of which 952 are males while 879 are females).[1]
