Kheri Boora

Kheri Boora (खेडी बूरा), is a Jat village in tahsil and district Charkhi Dadri of Haryana.
Before 2017, this village was part of Bhiwani district (Charkhi Dadri district was created on 1 November 2016).
Location
It is located on Delhi- Pilani highway, about 8 kms west of Dadri.

The Kheri Bura village has a population of 3038 of which 1630 are males while 1408 are females (as per Census data 2011).[1]
Notable persons
- Khajan Singh Sangwan (Hav) (15.03.1944 - 1988), Vir Chakra, was from Kheri Boora village in tahsil and district Charkhi Dadri of Haryana. He was awarded with Vir Chakra for his act of bravery in Indo-Pak War-1971. He retired from Army as Honourary Lieutenant.
- Captain Poonam Sangwan - From village Kheri Boora (Bhiwani) started Mount Everest Abhiyan on 23 May 2012 and climbed it on 26 May 2012. (Jat Jyoti:4/2013)
- Shahid Major Dharmesh Kumar Sangwan - From Kheri Bhiwani, became martyr in Sudan when Indian Peace Keeping Force encountered with militants. [2]
