Kungar (कूंगड़) is a large village of Bawani Khera tahsil in Bhiwani district in Haryana.

• Ghanghas clan Chauhan ruler Jatu's son was Pad and Pad's son was Laura, who founded Kungar.

History

Some elderly person of Goyat Gotra say that all Goyats first came to Kungar (Bhiwani) village first and then spread to other parts of Haryana like Narwana and villages like Kapro, Jhanj, Kalsora, Tapu, Shergarh Nathori in Karnal ...Goyats came to Kungar (Bhiwani) from hills of Dhosi situated in Rajasthan.

इतिहास

जयपुर रियासत के शेखावाटी भाग में गूगौर और बागौर नाम के दो गाँव थे। इनके स्वामी जयपरतनामी चौहान थे। जयपरतनामी के 4 पुत्र हुये 1. जाटू, 2. सतरोल, 3. राघू, और 4. जरावता. जाटू का विवाह सिरसा नगर के सरोहा गोत्री ठाकुर की पुत्री के साथ हुआ। जाटू के दो पुत्र हुये पाड़ और हरपाल। पाड़ ने राजली ग्राम बसाया जो अब जिला हिसार में पड़ता है। [p.11] राजली सारा जाटों का गाँव है जिसके स्वामी भी जाट हैं। हरपाल ने गुराणा गाँव बसाया जो राजली के पास ही है। यह ग्राम भी जाटों का है।

पाड़ के 5 पुत्र हुये – 1. अमृता, 2. बसुदेव, 3. पद्मा, 4. अब्भा, 5. लौआ. अमृता ने खूड़ाना गाँव बसाया जो रियासत पटियाला में है। बसुदेव ने भिवानी नगर बसाया जो अब हिसार की तहसील है। भिवानी से 7 कोस के अंतर पर बवानी खेड़ा और बलियाली ग्राम भी बसुदेव ने बसाये जो अब तहसील हांसी में हैं। बलियाली ग्राम के सारे राजपूत अब मुस्लिम हैं। बवानी खेड़ा के आधे राजपूत हिन्दू मत में और आधे मुस्लिम हैं। भवानी नगर के सारे राजपूत हिन्दू मत के हैं। भिवानी, बवानी खेड़ा और बलियाली के राजपूत वसुदेव की संतान हैं। भारत में जब महम्मदी लोगों का राज्य हो गया था तब बलियाली ग्राम के सारे और बवानी खेड़ा के आधे मुस्लिम बन गए थे। पद्मा ने सवाणी और मंगाली ने दो ग्राम बसाये थे ये जिला हिसार में हैं। दोनों ग्रामों के राजपूत लोग मुस्लिम हो गए। अब्भा ने पातली और हिन्दू वाना ग्राम बसाये थे। पातली जिला गुड़गांव में है और सारा जाटों का है। हिंदवाना जिला हिसार में है और यह भी सारा जाटों का है। लौरा ने कूंगड़ और भैनी लुहारी और तिगड़ाना ये 4 गाँव बसाये। ये चारों ही गाँव जिला हिसार में हैं। इनमें से लुहारी और तिगड़ाना हिन्दू राजपूतों के हैं और कूंगड़ तथा भैनी दोनों जाटों के गाँव हैं।

• Param Veer Goyat - IAS (2014) 29th rank is from Kungar Bhaini village of Bhiwani district in Haryana. His great grandfather moved from Kungar to Nathori and now they are in Panchkula. Punjab Cadre, M: 9899016543
• Nischal Das was born on Janmasthami day in a Hindu Jat family at Kungar Village in Bhiwani district of Haryana in 1791 CE. There is some disagreement among scholars regarding Nischal Das birth place. Several hold the view that he was born in Kidholi village of Dahiya gotra in Sonepat district, Haryana, that became his karamabhoomi and tapobhumi for many years till his last breath in 1863 CE.
