Padoda (पड़ोड़ा) Padod (पड़ोड़)[1] Padode (पड़ोड़े) gotra Jats are found in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

History

Bhim Singh Dahiya has mentioned that Padoda is a Rigvedic Gotra. Paravata : RV. VJII/34/18, mentions them going in their chariots-They are identified with Paroda/Parota clan of the Jats. Also recorded in RV 3/9/5; 6/61/3 etc. Ptolemy mentions them as Parouetal (6/50/1). Panca Vamsa Br.places them on the river Yamuna (IX/4/11).

Origin

Padoda(फडोदा),Fidauda are the same gotra but due to dialects at different places it is written and speak in different style.
