Pakasma
Pakasma (पाकसमा) is a village in Sampla block in Rohtak district of Haryana.
Location
PIN- 124401. It is 16km away from the sub-district headquarters in Sampla (tehsildar office) and 15km away from the district headquarters Rohtak. Since 2009, Pakasma has held the status of a Gram Panchayat. Pakasma is under the Sampla Police Station. Names of neighbouring villages are Bhalaut and Baliana. The village is slightly away from Rohtak-Sonipat road.
The total land area of Pakasma village is 1261 hectares. The population is 6,005 individuals, including 3,277 males and 2,728 females. The literacy rate in the village is reported at 68.06%, with 76.05% literacy among males and 58.47% among females. Pakasma is home to around 1,153 houses.
People living in Pakasma are Hindus. Most of the people belong to the Jat community.
Origin
Around 1600 years ago Dada Mahindra came from Ujwa or Ujawa in Delhi and established the village Pakasma.

The Gotra in the Pakasma village is Rana, also known as Chodah Rana. Around 1600 years ago Dada Mahindra came from Ujwa or Ujawa in Delhi and established the village Pakasma. Dada Mahindra had three sons. Dada Mahindra fought 14 battles and won all the battles, due to which Chodah Rana is also used as Gotra.
