Proof that Lord Krishna was a Jat

Here is the evidence that Lord Krishna was a Jat. We all know that Kunti was Bhua (Aunt) of Lord Krishna. Pandu along with his two wives Kunti and Madri had 5 sons, which were called as Pandavs. Kunti's sons were Yudhisthira, Bhima, Arjuna and Madri's sons were Nakula and Sahadeva.

Places during Mahabharat times, where still Jats are dominating right now.

Pandavs and 5 villages

Padavs asked for 5 villages from Duryodhan, which Duryodhan declined and led to the war of Mahabharat. These 5 villages are now inhabitted by Jats, such as

  • Sonipat in Haryana, famous Jat area of Dahiya, Malik, Antil, Khatri, Saroha, Narwal, etc. Jats have been elected MP from Sonipat Lok Sabha 9 times.
  • Panipat in Haryana. Famous Jat area inhabited by Malik, Maans, Dhanda, etc
  • Baghpat in Uttar Pradhesh. Jats have been elected MP from Baghpat Lok Sabha 13 times. Tomars, Dhakas, Tewatiyas, Nain, Lakda, etc
  • Indapatta in Pali language or Indraprastha was the capital of Pandavs, it is now in Delhi and Delhi Suba has more than 270 Jat Villages Sehrawats, Dabas, Solanki, Shokeen, Dagar, etc
  • Tilpat now in Faridabad District of Haryana. Gokula Jat was Zamindar of Tilpat. Battle of Tilpat was fought between Jats and Mughals. The nearby area of Ballabgarh was a Jat Kingdom of Tewatiya Jats.

Gurugram

Pandavs and Kauravs were sent to Guru Dronacharya’s Ashram in Gurugram. Today the Gurugram Village and surrounding 8 villages are inhabited by Kataria Gotr Jats and the nearby villages has numerous Jat population. Gurugram is in in south Haryana. In Gurugram village Sheetla mata temple is also built by Jats. Many Jats have been MLA from the Vidhan Sabhas of Gurugram District

Karnal

Karnal is in Haryana named after Karna. Karnal is home to many Jat villages. Sandhu, Beniwal, Sindher

Kurukshetra

Mahabharat war was fought here and right now there uncountable villages of Jats. Panjeta

Hastinapur

Hastinapur Kingdom is in Meerut District of Uttar Pradesh. Hastinapur is also home to Jats

Parikshitgarh

Parikshitgarh is a Jat village in Meerut Uttar Pradesh. It is named after Parikshit the son of Arjun

Mathura Vrindavan

Mathura was the capital of Lord Krishna. Mathura has sizeable Jat villages of gotras such as Solanki, Sikarwar, Haga, Agre, Thakurela, Kuntal, Laur. The Jats of Mathura are very strong politically and 10 times Jats have been MP from Mathura Lok Sabha. Many Jats have been MLA from Mathura area.

Braj Mandal

Lord Krishna was from Braj bhoomi and all these Braj districts has Jat caste and many Jat kingdoms were in this area such as Bharatpur of Sansanwals, Dhaulpur of Bamraoliya Ranas, Hindaun of Dagars, Ballabgarh of Tewatiyas, Hathras and Musran of Thenua Jats, Gwalior of Bamraulia Jats before Marathas, Bhind and Morena is called Jatwara Tract of Chambal. Braj Bhoomi is an area spread across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan , Haryana, Madhya Pradesh. The people here speaks Braj Basha.

  • Haryana - Palwal, Faridabad, some part of Gurugram
  • Rajasthan - Bharatpur, Dhaulpur, Karauli
  • Uttar Pradesh - Agra, Mathura, Hathras, Aligarh, GB Nagar,

Balarama brother

Brother of Krishna was Balarama, who is considered as the God of Agriculture and Strength. Balram's weapon was plough (hal) and Mace (gada). Plough is a symbol of Jat farmers. Ch Charan Singh formed the party Bhartiya Kranti Dal in 1967 and the symbol of the party was Balram’s plough

Yaduvanshi Jat Surname

  • Banswa is a village in Hodal of Palwal, Haryana. This village is on the border of Palwal and Mathura District. In this village Yaduvanshi is a Jat gotra.
  • Yaduvanshi surname of Jats have villages in Palwal, Mathura and Aligarh Districts

Bharatpur Kingdom

Bharatpur King Title "Braj Inder"

The ruler of Bharatpur kingdom is called as Brijinder when people address them such as "Mahraja Sawai Brijinder" which means the King of Braj Bhoomi. The rulers are also called Brijesh, Brajeshwar, Brajraj
