Sapar

Sapar is a Muslim Jat clan found in Sindh province of Pakistan. Sipari, or Sapari[1] , and Sparki, or Saparki, or Sapaki are the same, and may stand for the Saraparai of Pliny found in Afghanistan. [2]
History
Jat clan Namesake
- Zafar is an ancient Himyarite site situated in Yemen. Pliny has mentioned it as Sapphar.[3] Its ruins are now known as Dhafar. It was one of the chief cities of Arabia, standing near the southern coast of Arabia Felix.
Distribution in Pakistan
Sapar clan is found in northern districts of Sindh .
