File:Ancestral Scythian migration of Jat people.gif
Dear sir, are you able to view the above mentioned file on Jatland Wiki pages? — HardeepMoar (talk) 08:35, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- I can see only after I click the thumbnail and picture is full. Not on thumbnail. Laxman Burdak (talk) 11:16, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
Query
Hardeep, the quotes from authors should not be changed. One can add one's own remarks, stating disagreement. Hence, in my opinion, whatever Bakhshish Singh Nijjar wrote, need not be edited. --Dayanand Deswal (talk) 12:46, 10 January 2020 (UTC)
- Dear sir, thank you for replying. Agreed. Regards, — HardeepMoar (talk) 20:11, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

Bhatoa clan
One member has added this clan but so far we found no distribution and so far not found in any list. It has to be verified.Laxman Burdak (talk) 06:05, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
Hi there, i have added the surname bhatoa as it’s from the jatt clan, this name is a confusing one but i came across it about 3 years ago and in my spare time i have been doing research on this, this surname appears to be very very very rare with not many people possessing it which makes it extensively difficult to research and find facts, however about 2 years ago when i was in india i was doing research and I visited a jatt community, i spoke to them and they were quite happy to be apart of the research, in the community was a man whose first name i won’t reveal but his surname was indeed “bhatoa”, he told me about his family history and other people who were apart of the community verified his caste, which was in-fact a jatt now this isn’t the only foundation for my study and entry on this website, over the years i’ve read on many website which show this name to be true, unfortunately due to a complete mistake and stupidity of my own i did not keep a track or record of the websites i found and used for my basis however i did manage to find this one, which i had saved in my bookmarks as i had to send it to someone, https://jattsurnames.wordpress.com/ anyways if you would like to contact me regarding this please do so, so we can solve this soon, thank you.
Why do you keep removing the content from bhatoa?

Move
A suggestion: Do not remove the redirect statement like this. If a page already exist with some history than a normal user cant move pages. Only admins can do. So we need admin for this. --Ashok Talk 09:24, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
- Category:Nnjcx have all the revision history of chaupal page. We (Norman Users) can't move to an existing page like Jatland Wiki:Chaupal. If a page have only move log in history than we can move on it. In this situation only admins like Burdak sir, Deswal sir can help. Because admin have right to move on already exist pages (With more than one log in page history). --Ashok Talk 09:53, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
- Kindly share your idea with me? If possible, I will try to help. Also, kindly don't risk loosing any page. Clearly, you have better knowledge then me, so it would be better that you brief Burdak sir on the situation we are facing when he comes online. Best regards, — HardeepMoar (talk) 10:22, 18 February 2020 (UTC)

Ashok Talk 18:19, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
- Bro, I am not really good with the "moving" and "merging" stuff, so I decided that it would be the right thing to stay away, at a safe distance, from the pages which were to be fixed. I always leave the work of experts to experts. However, I will give it time to be better at this stuff, in the coming weeks. You have fixed everything, exceptionally well. I respect that :) With respect and best regards, — HardeepMoar (talk) 19:11, 27 February 2020 (UTC)

- My dear, it is open for everyone! All the users can upload files on Wiki. However, we should protect our Files/Images: Jatland Wiki:Chaupal#Suggestions for Protection of pages. We have already lost one File/Image (Kindly see: User talk:Lrburdak#File:Sikar District2.jpg and File:Sikar District2.jpg. We must not loose more! - I respect you, bro! I really do. If you say, I will not put any File/Image under protection. I would not cross you! Just say the word, and I will not put any File/Image under protection. My intention is only to protect the hard work our of our Wiki Editors. With respect and best regards, — HardeepMoar (talk) 19:52, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
- My dear, all of our Users are free to Upload Files, anyways! If you are confident that our File/Images cannot be harmed, and we should not put them under protection, then I would not do that. I would put your advice and opinion in high regard. With respect and best regards, — HardeepMoar (talk) 19:55, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
- I am not putting any File/Image under protection, not even one more, till I receive your answer. I will wait for your answer from now till the whole weekend. - There is nothing on this wiki that we can lose. And about protecting files, this is not a good practice for a wiki editor. Regards, --Ashok Talk 20:00, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
- OK, bro! I will follow your advice, with regards :)
I would not put any File under protection. I would honour your opinion and advice. It's just that most of us Editors are not so good with the technical stuff as you are, so I was only trying to do a good thing (for us all). With respect and best regards, HardeepMoar (talk) 20:07, 28 February 2020 (UTC)

- Thank you for the kind words, bro :)
Bro, if we are leaving our Files unprotected, you should know that since you (most probably, only you) have a good hold over the technical areas, we will always come to you for assistance in case someone comes after our Files :)
Kindly be here to help us, always :)

Page 43 and 49
Namaste, dear sir! The information mentioned at Khosa#Origin is cited to page 43 of the book, but I could not see that on page 43, however, on page 49, it is stated just on the beginning of the page. Should we not change the page number in the reference that's cited? Kindly look into this, and take a look at both of the pages. With respect and best regards, — HardeepMoar (talk) 11:41, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
- All entries starting with K in this book on Jatland were deleted in 2015 which need to be restored. We will upload from the book again. You are right regarding Khosa. Correct page is 49. See https://archive.org/stream/glossaryoftribes03rose#page/n113/mode/2up

1. I should remind you that most of the famous Jats are known for their pseudonym or nickname or from the village they belong to, many people may not know them from their real names for example Devi lal Chautala , "Chautala" is his village. In case of Mukesh Gahlot I don't know him or met him just read about him today he is known as "Guruji", what's wrong if I put that in brackets ? can I know the reason of your message . I'm still confused (no offense)
2. In Case of "Punjab" this I was copying the format because I was creating districts of delhi , by mistake I may have cut it instead of Copying , I didn't saw that . I'm still trying to learn how to create .
by the way who are you ? are you an employee at this website ?

Hellow Hardeep. Ref. your query about above. This seems to be copy of some pages from Thakur Deshraj's book - "Jat Jan Sewak". This text has been added here by Burdak ji. Hence, no harm in keeping the text intact. --Dayanand Deswal (talk) 17:32, 22 April 2020 (UTC)

Governor – a clan ?
Namaste, dear sir. Do Jats have this gotra: Governor? A user added it as a Jat gotra. For now, I have reverted that edit. He has also made the same kind of edit to another page which I had not reverted so far. With respect and best regards, — HardeepMoar (talk) 12:41, 23 April 2020 (UTC)

Sinsini
Namaste, dear sir! Years ago at Sinsini#Early_History, you added: "A group of Yadavas was follower of Shiv and Vedic God in Sindh." I just wanted you to take another look at it, just to be sure that no mistake had been made. Maybe, I am confusing something else with something here, but please check this. Also, you had not named any Vedic God but only wrote Vedic God. Is there enough information available to add a name? I just had a hunch, so asking you to take a look. With respect and best regards, — HardeepMoar (talk) 10:58, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
