Bakhar

Bakhar (बाखर)[1] is a Jat Gotra.[2] Bakhar Jats live in Uttar Pradesh. [3]. Bakhar (बखर) is a Rajput clan found in Amritsar.[4]
Origin
It originated from Nagavanshi King Bakshur. Bakshur is an ancient town in Northern Afghanistan. Kilah Maur is said to be site of ancient Bakshur.[5]
