Chandar
Chandar (चंदड़)[1][2][3] Chandal (चन्दल) Chandad (चंदड़) Chandarh (चंदढ) Chander (चंदड़) is gotra of Jats in Indian Punjab and Pakistan.[4] Chandar clan is found in Afghanistan. [5] Chandar (चन्दर), a Muhammadan Jat clan is found in Montgomery and Sialkot. Cf. Chandarh. [6]

History
Ram Sarup Joon[8] writes that...about 70 Jat Gotras joined the Gujar force and started calling themselves Gujars. Chandal is one of them.
Garcha, Sirhe, Nain, Chandarh, Dhanda, Kandhole and Khosa Jatts are close kins who are thought to have come from Turkistan (Scythian empire) in early historic times.
