Origin

Kharatwas (खरतवास) is a Village in Taranagar tahsil of Churu district in Rajasthan.

History

According to Hukum Singh Panwar (Pauria), The Khar or Kher or Kharata or Khareta and possibly the Kharb Jats are the descendants of the Saka Ksharatas mentioned in the Indian Epigraphs or the Karatai Scythians.[4]
