Loor Gotra derives name from Loor (meaning an elevated place)[1] in Iran.[2]
History
The Vatsa Kshatriyas of Kosambi fought Mahabharata War with Pandavas against Kauravas. After Mahabharata War they came to Loor area of Punjab Pakistan. Folk tradition and songs tell us about the Vatsa here. [3]
